I began my design career creating architectural drawings for a range of commercial, residential and industrial buildings. Later in 1997, after completing my diploma in Graphic Design, I joined Grey Interactive where I gained web design experience working with clients such as Pfizer, Royal Bank and AT&T. I brought my unique background to CPC in 1999 and since then I’ve been the lead designer on brands including Benlysta, AA-Clozapine, Xtandi and Omnitrope.
I’m a Professional Graphic Designer by day, but at night I have a clay addiction. I took a beginners hand-building class in 1991 at the Pine Tree Potters Guild and became a member immediately. I was hooked on clay and I’ve never looked back. As an active member of the Pine Tree Potters Guild I’ve held the executive positions of Sales, Secretary, Vice President, President and Past President. I enjoy working on the wheel just as much as rolling clay through my slab roller making functional and nonfunctional pieces. My work has been recognized by many of the local potters in northern York Region and in 2011 one of my clay pieces was included in the 500 Raku book collection published by Lark Books.
